Moment of clarity
That moment an alcohlic who says ' I can take it or leave it, I just enjoy a drink Im not hurting anyone', that moment when first thing in the morning he's reaching into the fridge to get his can of beer and notices how badly his hand is shaking... Ive never been a drinker personaly but I know that 'moment of clarity' is similar to that moment whilst living a good peaceful life I realised I was an enemy of God, I realised I was a sinner, guilty... I needed a Saviour
Looking at the compass
Planning... looking for resources for help, I'm going to join a church, I'm going to go to bible study.. I'm going to... This is how we look at where we were and plan to move in the opposite direction, to repent. Turn from our sinful life and follow God
Walking with Jesus
This is it, the road is rocky and narrow, trechurous in places but we do not walk alone and we do have more than a compass now. We have Jesus, Jesus who walks with us, who's foot steps we walk in, Jesus who never lets go of us even we take our eyes off of him and stumble and fall. He is our light our salvation He is The way The Truth and the life. I now hang out with God the creator of ALL things. Wow...
