His Majesty KING Jesus!
I am the Lord, that is My name, And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images. Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare, before they spring forth I will tell you of them. Isaiah 42:8-9
There is a Creator, a true living God.
God is perfectly pure, He dwells in unapproachable light.
God breathed out the stars and created all things.
God created the earth and created man to live in the earth and have dominion over it and over all of the animals.
God created man to be in relationship with God and to Glorify God.
God made man in God's image.
In your heart you know there is a creator, the sky’s and seas and all that is in them cries out and shows the marks of a creator.
Man disobeyed God's command and desired to be like God.
This is the FALL of man, the fall out of God's will. Man is no longer pure and cannot be in God's presence.
Man has sinned
Man is guilty
You are guilty, We are guilty.
God gave us ten commandments, just 10, that would assist in making us pure enough to be in God's presence again, but no man can keep them, every man has broken at least one commandment.
The 10 Commandments List, Short Form
You shall have no other gods before Me.
You shall not make idols.
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not murder.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet.
These commandments are God's law
You and I have broken God's law, we have sinned against God.
The wages of sin is death - Eternal separation from God
A righteous judge will execute a rightful judgment, God is a rightful judge.
The Good news is God provided a sacrifice to pay for the cost of sin, everyone’s sin, Your sin, my sin.
God sent His only son to die on the cross, to give up His life after living a perfect life, after keeping all of the 10 commandments after fulfilling the law, Jesus was blameless, innocent but He died for You for us all.
On the 3rd day Jesus rose from the grave, death could NOT hold him, it had no claim over Him, Jesus defeated death and is alive today.
The penalty of sin has been payed, if you believe this and turn away from your sin that is to repent, to make a decision to follow Jesus He has promised not only to accept you no matter what you’ve done in your past but He has also promised to finish the work He has started in you.
