What is your donation going to be used for?

The donations will be used for a number of measures to support the running of redzradio and ministry work arising from it, this includes the following:

Website hosting - Developing - Promotion -  I need to employ a company to work on the websites SEO which basically helps us get found in Google searches, this is on going and a monthly commitment. I also want to have banners (paid advertising) on various websites in order to drive traffic to RedZ Reggae. Printed flyers to hand out at events to promote the site.



Social Media management -  I need either dedicated volunteers to under go training or a professional to build and manage social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter, this is an essential way to promote the website and engage with a massive worldwide audience. Social media cannot be ignored as an integral part of what we are doing and hoping to achieve​



Soundcloud & Mediafire subscriptions -  I currently pay monthly subscriptions to www.soundcloud.com and www.mediafire.com, these are web based platforms that enable me to host all the music that is available on RedZ Reggae, without these monthly subscriptions we would merely be a portal of information. Our desire is to be a well of free Christ centered music​



Free Mix CD's - Whilst running the ministry of His Majesty's Sound System aka HMSS, an integral part was recording mix CD's and giving them out freely and sending them by post around the world, we had requests from countries such as Iraq, Porto Rico, Australia etc The mix CD's have brought people to Christ, inspired others to start sound systems especially in the Caribbean. We need to buy blank CD's, cases and sleeve design.​



Outreach events - Here is my heart - 'Outreach', firstly allow me to share my conviction of what outreach is and is not. Firstly outreach is NOT holding an event in your church, it is not holding an event elsewhere and taking up an offering, it is not holding a free event and selling merchandise of any description. Outreach IS meeting the needs of those you are reaching out to in a practical way as well as spiritual. New Living Translation (©2007) and you say, "Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well"--but then you don't give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?

Outreach costs money, a van is needed to transport the sound equipment, Food and drinks costs money in order to give it away free, depending on the needs of those you are reaching out to and the environment you are in will determine what you need to buy or source in order to give it away. Basically the bigger the budget the more we can do, there are hungry people out there it is our duty as Christians to feed them and share the Gospel.

​Inspiration: Antioch Christian Fellowship in Philadelphia USA led by Pastor Aaron host an annual outreach in their community, they have a stage with artists singing rapping and DJ's mixing all sharing God's word through out the day, Pastor Aaron would also deliver the Gospel message. They had a professional barber giving free haircuts, a medical team giving free health checks, free food feeding everyone, free clothes. After ministering at one of these outreaches, the following Sunday a Grandmother stood up in church with 4 generations of her family giving thanks for the outreach and how it inspired them to attend church.

We as Christians are called to feed the hungry and clothe the naked, we are called to meet the needs of people both physically and spiritually.
